Transworld snowboarding is reporting struggles at Cypress Mountain, the site of the Olympic pipe... The struggle being the lack of snow!
Organisers had been cristised for their choice of location for the pipe a while back- being in a low level resort and they could be right. There seems to be a severe lack of snow..

However, the crew responsible for building the pipe have a more optimistic view..Construction has begun, snow is being repositioned and the walls are growing!
I have faith they will pull it together in time.
I was a visitor to Cypress Mountain this time 2 years ago and the pipe was a work of art! Will post my pic of this later today...
